Group therapy can act as a support network and is the most effective way to provide a sense of community to those struggling with mental health.

What are the benefits of group therapy?

  • Being in a group fosters the development of communication and abilities, social skills, and results in individuals being able to learn to accept criticism.

  • Group therapy can give you a voice.

  • Groups can provide a safe space.

  • Group therapy and individual therapy are relatively equivalent in their effectiveness in addressing differents types of mental health disorders.

  • Groups cost less than individual therapy.
