Christine Atkinson is a licensed creative arts therapist and doctoral student at Lesley University actively pursuing her PhD in Expressive Therapies. Christine utilizes a person-centered approach, creative expression, and talk therapy in a space that is safe, accepting, and non-judgmental, fostering an environment of self-directed change and path to self-actualization. Together a collaborative approach will be used to reinforce your foundation, reconnect with yourself, and rediscover your identity. She is committed and motivated to provide an authentic, creative space to increase self-awareness, as well as foster growth and self-expression. Malene received her Master of Professional Studies degree in Art Therapy and Creativity Development from Pratt Institute. Seeking to support individuals struggling with anxiety, loss/grief, co-dependency, depression, and interpersonal connections, Malene connects art making, meditation, and deep breathing to develop a deeper awareness of what is happening within one's mind and body. Life is an experiment, and Malene encourages clients to operationalize "experimenting" through the use of positive psychology and CBT. The underlying goal is to reduce self-judgment, open the door to self-compassion, and access Peace at any moment.

Mads Hemphill (they/them) is a compassionate and curious art therapy intern in their final year of study in Pratt Institute’s Art Therapy program. They believe in the power of the creative process to aid in achieving client goals, including healing from trauma, improving self-esteem, and living an authentic and fulfilling life. Mads blends artmaking with talk therapy to create a personalized and welcoming space that empowers each client towards growth as they define it. Mads holds a BFA in dramatic writing from New York University, and utilizes their knowledge of narrative and visual art to guide clients through an expansive range of creative and cognitive exploration.
Mads’ clinical identity is grounded in a person-centered framework that also employs cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, and dialectical behavior therapy techniques. They have special interest in supporting those who identify as members of the LGBTQIA+ community, survivors of sexual abuse and assault, individuals in non-traditional relationship structures, and adults and children with autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and attachment trauma.
