Vero Sun (They/Them)

Vero is a counseling intern working towards their M.A. in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness with an Advanced Certificate in LGBTQ Health, Education, and Social Services at NYU. Vero has been trained for an integrative approach that centers multiculturalism, mindfulness, and LGBTQ+ affirming therapy that are trauma-informed and strength-based. Vero aims to provide a welcoming space for all clients and help them arrive at their unique land of coherence and peace authentically. Empathy, trust, and compassion are the foundations of their therapeutic styles. In addition, they also believe in the transformative power of a robust therapeutic relationship for the clients’ brave self-exploration work.
