Rachel Grottola
MHC - Intern
Rachel is working toward her Masters in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at New York University. Her approach centers on creating a relaxed, nonjudgmental and collaborative environment where clients feel heard and understood as they explore their thoughts and emotions. She values taking all aspects of a person’s identity and life experiences into account to create personalized treatment tailored to each client's unique needs. Her goal is to support clients in building coping skills, strengthening emotional regulation, and working toward meaningful growth and healing.

I aim to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore difficult emotions and experiences at their own pace. Through a collaborative therapeutic process, I help clients build coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, increase self-awareness, and develop healthier ways of managing stress.
